green marked cycle route runs along the territory of the district. It starts in the village of Cigeľ by turning off the blue marked Bojnice cycle circuit. It continues through Sebedražie and the Púšť locality to Prievidze, where it ends.
An interesting combination is the ascent along the yellow hiking trail from Remata, at Bralová skala you will connect to the red hiking trail – part of the Trail of the Heroes of the Slovak National Uprising, through Sklenianske lúky meadows to Skleného. From where it is possible to return to Prievidza by train. The ascent to Bralová skala itself is not long (less than an hour), but the climb itself is quite steep.
The ascent to Kľak can be divided into two stages – the first is the serpentine ascent to “Reváň” from where you can see the first beautiful views, and the second to the top itself.
It belongs to zoological gardens of general type, i.e., without a specific specialization. Bojnice National Zoo presents a unique collection of animals from all over the world in more than 430 species, which is why Bojnice ZOO can boast the largest collection of all Slovak zoos.

Originally Bojnické Castle was a Gothic castle dating back to the 11th century. Since then, the castle has changed many owners, including the Hungarian Grand Matúš Čák Trenčiansky, Matej Korvín and Thurz Family.
From the lookout you will have an impressive view of the surrounding landscape, Bojnický castle and its grounds, as well as Prievidza, which is not usually visible from a lower altitude. The tower also includes a slide, which brave visitors can use to descend from the top of the tower.
